NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 20, 2014) BMG recording artist Danny Gokey embarks on his HOPE IN FRONT OF ME promotional tour in support of his June 23 album release with national television appearances, radio visits, and live performances. Danny launched his new album during an intimate showcase at BMG in New York City followed by visits at Sirius XM and appearances with Fox Entertainment News and Good Day New York.
Following his New York City stop, Danny appeared on TBN's Praise the Lord, shared new music during Saddleback Church's Father's Day services, performed his single "Hope in Front of Me" and "More Than You Think I Am" at BMI's 2014 Christian Music Awards, was the music guest on Daystar TV's Marcus and Joni and was a featured guest on Daystar TV's Joni Talk Table.
Danny's album HOPE IN FRONT OF ME is available now for pre-order on iTunes, Amazon, and DannyGokey.com. A download of his chart-climbing top 20 Christian AC single "Hope In Front of Me" and "Love Will Take You Places" are available instantly with a pre-order of the album exclusively on iTunes. A top 3 finalist on the eighth smash season of Fox's American Idol, Danny Gokey soon entered the record books as the first-ever male American Idol contestant to sign with a major country label. An acclaimed singer and author, Gokey made an indelible first impression with 2010's record-breaking debut album, "MY BEST DAYS" with a top 4 entrance on Billboard's "Top 100 Albums" chart - the best opening week for a debut album from a male country artist in almost two decades. He received an array of honors, including his home state's WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) Award for "Male Vocalist of the Year" as well as an American Country Awards nomination as "New/Breakthrough Artist of the Year."
